When developing the design of the website, we moved away from “worn out” ‘one size fits all’ solutions. For the design of the Azaryan Medical Clinic website, we selected a special, unique colour balance, which differs from conventional colour patterns used for topics associated with medicine, and, at the same time, there is purity and grace in this design, which is also associated with the field of medicine.

We created a stylish and modern website design, standing out from websites of a huge number of clinics. Discreet design elements imitating brush strokes convey the main message of the clinic to visitors, which is as follows: medicine is an art. This is the slogan of the Azaryan Medical Clinic, which is a modern full-service clinic.

    • We developed a website prototype with an intuitive, convenient structure based on information about the clinic and services provided by the client.
    • We developed a unique design and implemented a responsive layout for all types of devices.
    • We developed the website using the user-friendly MODX Revolution content management system.
    • We compiled a semantic core of queries for promotion. We optimised the website for search engines.

    As a result, the client has a modern website, which is optimised for search engines and operates fast, with a design helping the clinic website to stand out from its competition and convenient usability.

    Convenient navigation and an understandable structure, as well as the possibility to make an appointment with a doctor using each page containing information about the services, is the key to high conversion.

ACHIEVEMENT OF THE OBJECTIVES

Project development

The first stage in the development of the website was prototyping, the purpose of which was to determine the location of the main design elements, visualise the functional elements, and elaborate scenarios of user interaction on the website.

We developed a prototype version based on the information provided by the client, received feedback regarding the necessary additions, made the changes necessary; and the Customer accepted the prototype.

We designed templates for all the main pages of the website: the main page, the page containing information about the services, pages with a detailed description of the corresponding services, the page containing information about the clinic, pages with the description of the corresponding doctors, the page with contact information, as well as templates for many other pages.

Design

We focused on the interface that had to be convenient to the maximum extent possible and user-friendly. The structure of the main page of the website is represented by units, each of which directs the user to the corresponding section on the website, which allows people who visit the website for the first time to get acquainted with the clinic services and to go to the section, which is of interest to them, with one click.

It is possible to make an appointment at the clinic via a feedback form or to request a callback on the main page.

Feedback and making appointments at the clinic

For the convenience of visitors to the clinic, the navigation menu includes the telephone numbers of the clinic, a button with the possibility to request a callback, as well as a button for making an appointment with a medical specialist. The same features are available in the mobile version of the website.

Facts about the treatments

On each page containing the information about the services, there is a description of the corresponding treatment and the information regarding the purposes for which this treatment is carried out, how it is performed, what the contraindications are. For clarity, the facts about the treatments are presented using a separate unit containing key ‘at-a-glance’ information. For the convenience of clients and for increasing conversion, there is a button for making an appointment with regard to this service on the page.

Problems and Solutions

If the patient does not know which doctor they should contact, then the Problems and Solutions section will help refer the patient to the medical specialist they really need. This section contains the information regarding possible solutions to the problem.

Responsive design

Along with the website version designed for desktop computers, we developed a mobile website version, the functionality of which was adapted for mobile devices. The Azaryan Medical Clinic website is correctly displayed on all types of devices: desktop computers, tablets, smartphones.

Website Promotion in Google

Promotion of a laser medicine clinic website on Google is a rather laborious process, since this area is distinguished by its particular specifics and competition. In the course of promoting a website in search engines, you have to compete with other clinics, beauty salons and cosmetologists.

The complexity of the goal was also that the Azaryan Medical Clinic brand is new, and the domain name was received no more than a few months ago.

Key Goals and Objectives:

  • Promote the maximum number of targeted queries in the TOP-10 search results.
  • Increase website traffic and website conversions (online entries, incoming calls).
  • Inform clients about the clinic's services, promotions and special offers.
  • Create a positive image of a modern laser medicine clinic.

Strategy

Taking into account the difficulty of promoting the project, we have planned a strategy that we continue to implement, increasing conversions and website reputation.

  • The importance of website optimization during the development phase for quick results
    The clinic contacted us to create their first website. This allowed us to take into account all basic wishes of the customer for search engine promotion and implement them into the project even at the planning stage of the structure and interface of the website, as well as during its further development and filling with content.
  • Collecting the semantic core
    To cover most of the target audience, we have expanded the semantic core to 130 queries. To increase the number of conversions, we have focused on increasing the visibility of the website for the most priority and relevant customer areas.
  • Technical SEO and content optimization
    We have set up and distributed metadata for the main pages of the website (Title, Description, H1), set up robots.txt, sitemap.xml, created internal links, etc., optimized the content on the website pages. Thanks to text optimization, the website was able to rank higher based on a number of queries within three months of launching the website.
  • Registering a project in Google My Business
    We have registered the clinic in Google My Business, created a clinic profile, posted information about the opening hours, and added a photo of the clinic. Google My Business has a number of important advantages, the main one of which is website promotion in search results. All this, combined with the right SEO strategy, contributes to reaching the top of the search.
  • Blogging and external link building
    We regularly post articles to the blog and are working to get referral traffic by publishing articles on thematic platforms.

Results

Results after 12 months of work:

  • Total website traffic has grown almost 6 times.
  • Increase in traffic from organic search almost 9 times.
  • The share of organic search traffic is 60%.
  • The number of conversions has increased by 8 times (almost 75% of conversions come from Google).

We have successfully achieved our goals and promoted more than 70% of the requests in the TOP-10. We are now continuing to promote the remaining queries to the first page of the Google Organic search results.

Our work contributes to the increase in traffic to the clinic's website, the number of online appointments and callbacks through the website.
