The cef.lv or darbsvacija.lv service helps job seekers searching for a job in Germany to profile themselves. At the same time, it helps employment specialists to select suitable job candidates for the employer.
The portal consists of a presentation part and an administrative part available to users after registration.
Over many years of work, CEF Recruitment has gained extensive experience in the field of staff search and employment. This experience was transformed into requirements for developing CRM, which would improve the effectiveness of working with job seekers. It was necessary to store and manage all information about each job candidate, including their employment history, current employment status, preferences, expectations, qualifications, and other data.
Job seekers can apply for open vacancies, and recruiters consider their applications and report suitable job candidates to employers. CEF Recruitment can quickly and easily redirect such information via the CRM system.

Outcome
We have created a proper web resource for job seekers searching for a job in Germany, which is synchronised with an internal CRM system that serves a large CV database. The CRM system ensures the efficiency of the company’s employees: it reduces the risk of errors and improves the quality of interaction with employers.
Achievement of the objectives
Project development
Designing of the website interface was carried out taking the following goals into consideration:
- a competently created interface with easy-to-read information;
- convenient CRM system functionality, which, over time, can be easily scaled and supplemented with new technical capabilities.
As a result, we carefully planned and agreed with the customer on the development of the website front-end interface, as well as the CRM system. The technical implementation plan that was agreed upon in detail facilitated successful project implementation.
Design
Both an experienced internet user and someone who has a level of using the internet that is not so advanced, can be a CEF Recruitment client.
For this reason, we have created a neat, attractive and, at the same time, simple-to-understand and intuitive design.
Some implementation features
- The main page of the website immediately offers job seekers the opportunity to get familiarised with current vacancies and fill out a profile with information about themselves.
- Convenient submission of applications for vacancies (for registered users).
- Forwarding of profiles (in pdf or docx format) and CVs to email addresses of users in a few clicks.
- Creating email templates for sending messages to email addresses.
- Delegation of access rights for system backend managers: each user can configure their level of access to the necessary system capabilities.
The solution was developed based on the Yii2 framework (PHP).
